Server Admin Team

Server Mods:

The Server Admin Team will ALWAYS be logged in, so you can know if it's really us or an imposter using our name(s); you can check who's logged in by typing /players.


Server Guidelines:
It's expected that ALL players on the Eclipse'd.EC|d Arma Server abide by the following:

No Open-Admin
Eclipse'd.EC|d Servers are not Open Admin; asking for passwords and/or attempting unauthorized admin login will result in a ban.

No Impostering
Unauthorized usage of the .EC|d Clan Tag, or names of Clan Members will result in a ban - no questions asked.

No Excessive Camping and/or Digging and/or Plugging
doing so may result in being booted from the Server
NOTE: excessive digging lags the Server.

No Bots, Excessive High Pings or Extended Chat Bots
we expect players on the Server to be actively playing; please leave the Server if using system resources which result in exceedingly high pings or if you will be AFK for longer than a couple rounds.

Be a Good Team Mate
the server may be set up for team play & any person repeatedly killing their own team will be kicked from the Server; if you do not like your team mate, move to another team or create a new one.

Profanity will NOT be Tolerated
acronym's (WTF), misspelling of swear words (fukc) are not allowed, nor is swearing in other languages.

Keep Personal Beliefs to Yourself
it's about playing a game, not a place to debate.  However, private discussions are tolerable as long as it remains respectful.

No Drinking & Driving
in general, players who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol bring out the worst in themselves & may be asked to leave the Server.

No Scouting for Prospective Clan Members
advertise on your own server/forum please; this includes whispers asking players on the Server to join your clan.

Must be Respectful to All Players
not just Clan.EC|d or to its Leaders. Trash Talking or Bashing will not be tolerated.

Utilize the Silence Option
do not get into a heated confrontation with anyone; if a player is repeatedly causing problems, please ignore that player and report them: Problem Player?

Do Not Abuse Kick Poll Option
the Kick Poll is ONLY for problem players who break these guidelines & when a Server Admin is not available; abuse could result in the Poll Creator being banned [Poll Removed Due to Abuse]

Keep Player Name Neutral
it is recommended that a name that might be offensive to others not be used on the Server & the player be willing to change it if asked; if anyone finds a name to be offensive they are to simply ask for a name change.

Server Suggestions
Please direct your suggestions to this thread: Server Suggestions - Don't harass the Server Admin Team about changing the settings during game play.

Keep Chat Content PG-13
this is a family server & there may be younger players.

[Note On Chat Bot Kills]
Although it is not against the rules to kill chat bots, the Server Admin Team does consider this to be rude and ask that players refrain from doing so.  However, we do understand when killing a chat bot becomes necessary such as in the case of a player abusing the chat bot (either using it to avoid a fight, or to lure someone close to turn on them), or a player clearly not playing or chatting but is away from the keyboard and neglected to go into Spectator Mode.  We hope you can use your better judgment in these cases - and we hope that you also consider that some Chat Bot Kills are not intentional.  However, anyone excessively killing a legitimate chat bot (a player who is actively playing and chatting at the same time) may be reported in Problem Player?

[Note On COST - Clan Only Server Time]
Every Saturday the .EC|d Server is reserved for members of the .EC|d Clan.  Please do not argue with the Server Admin Team when/if they ask you to leave.  If you're nice about it, we may invite you to stay.  If, however, you chose to argue and harass us, you may be kicked and/or banned for an indefinite period of time.

Violations of the above guidelines could result in being kicked and/or banned
for an indefinite period of time at the discretion of the Server Admin Team.
